Noosa Heads
Noosa Heads was one of my favorite stops along the way. Much like Byron in the small beachy town sense but a bit more upscale, Noosa was a place I could easily spend a good amount of time at. We lucked out and stayed with a mate of Aaron's, Ed, who was currently living at a fabulous beach resort with bali style huts, pools, jaccuzzi's and a sauna. He was obsessed with surfing and introduced Aaron to the Alaia, one of the original Hawaiian timber surfboards. We ended up going to Tom Wegener's house who creates original Alaia boards and we were able to check out his shop and buy his DVD. It was awesome!
